The Adirondack Ice Bowl Pond Hockey Tournament will consist of the following

·      A gathering of 64 teams playing on 4th lake at the North Woods Inn Resort in Old Forge, NY.

·      Six person teams will compete in a 4 on 4 format.  

·      3 guaranteed round robin games beginning on Friday afternoon and continuing through to Sunday morning.  Games consist of two 15-minute periods with a 5-minute halftime intermission. 

·      The pond pass includes tournament entry fee, player post-game beverage tickets and Friday night meet the player’s party, which includes dinner and 1 hour of open bar. 

·      Accommodations provided by North Woods Inn Resort.  Lodging is available at tournament rates. 

·        In addition to the pond hockey tournament there will be winter sport competitions and much more for the whole family to enjoy.

·        Tournament registration fee is $200 per player.

·        Must be at least 21 years of age by January 29, 2010 to register

·        Winning team will advance to the 2010 Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Tournament in Buffalo, NY.  Tournament and hotel fees included.  

The Adirondack Ice Bowl started it’s inaugural pond hockey tournament in February of 2009 after a group of friends teamed together to fight mother nature for arguably one of the best times adult hockey players have had in the winter months.  After all the great feedback it was decided to expand the tournament for more teams to participate in 2010.  This prompted a move from first lake to the North Woods Inn Resort located on forth Lake in Old Forge, NY.  With the help of Labatt Blue and many other great sponsors we hope for another great event in 2010.
