unedible "food", broken equipment , arcade a hazard
i took my family to the skate-inn and was horribly surprised. for a family of 4, including a child with disabilitie was over $35. we were the ONLY people there. none of the skates that we tried on fit. they were all broken, missing brakes, held together with tape and broken laces. after sort-of finding ones that fit the kids went to the arcade.only about 5 of the 40 games were working and we lost quite a bit of money on broken games. most were not even plugged in. one of the very unsafe and old rides (they were there 20 years ago and have not been kept up)smelled of burning wire and and could see open wires in between the duct tape. The 'playscape' is a baby toy that is percariously perched on a gym mat. My disabled son got hurt about 3 times in all. the kids were then hungry but none of the food i would even consider edible. it was DISGUSTING! we decided to skate for about another half hr and then leave. all in all after about an hr and a half and $70, we will not be returning.
My son attended the New Years Eve all night skating this year. The cost was $20.00. He arrived at 10 PM and was told there were no more skates left in his size....all night long there were none left. In addition, during the middle of the night they pulled all the kids off the rink, turned off all of the machines and instructed them to pick up the area and then they could continue the evening. I will never et anyone I know go there again
