I recently fell at Extreme Wheels on a 1/2 inch metal fastener on the floor. I broke my wrist and suffered a concussion. So far, due to some minor complications, the hospital bill is well over $10,000.00. "Mike" one of the guards retained the piece and was witness to the fall. Don't expect Dean to respond to you about liability! I would hate for a child to go through what I did with no recourse. I am an expert roller skater and do skate at my own risk, but would never had skated if I knew that there could possibly be screws on the floor. I have been going there for over a year, bring my own skates and have never had them checked for damage or loose parts. The skate they rent there are in poor condition. I have seen kids skating outside and then enter the building with skates that are never checked for loose parts. I would think twice before I let my kids skate there.
