This rink is a throw back from when I was a kid. So is Thriller. I love the remodel except for the skating floor - unlevel, uneven concrete that has been painted and has iridescent flakes on it plus some gum gobs. No acrylic overlay. Very uncomfortable to skate on and weirdly slick. The games took my money and didn't work. Honestly, if it hadn't been my nephew's first time skating - and had I not paid $25 to get in the door, when I saw the skate surface I would have turned around and left. It is that bad... and I've skated on a LOT of different surfaces.
