Founded in E Watertown, MA, John A. Ryan Skating Arena is an indoor rink and open seasonally from August 15th to April 11th.
 

Public Skating

Public skating sessions are held on most weekends at John A. Ryan Skating Arena. Skating rentals are available. Skating provides great exercise and an opportunity to get out of the house - plus, it's not like exercising at the gym... skating is fun! Lace-em up and come join the others. Get on the ice and get ready for a great experience.

John A. Ryan Skating Arena offers Figure Skating & Ice Skating Lessons.

Are you an adult looking to learn to skate? Do you have children yearning to skate like the pros? If so, we love to teach and our instructors are top notch. For beginners we focus on providing the basics. For more advanced skaters we focus on proper form, technique and getting you ready to meet your goals.

We offer both Youth Ice Hockey programs and Adult leagues. 

Skater looking to play on a team in an instructional league or an experienced ice hockey player looking to get out and play with others of a similar caliber, John A. Ryan Skating Arena is the place to play. Give us a call at (617) 972-6468 to inquire about our youth hockey program. Our experienced group will help get you ready for your next game.

We are also home to Watetertown High Boys, Watertown/Melrose High Girls, Trinity Catholic High, Newton South, Watertown Sienor A Mens League, Watertown Lady Raider Girls Hockey U10, U12, U19, Valley Hockey League, Middlesex Yankee Conference League, and MIAA State Hockey Tourniment, Private Events and rentals.
