Morris Arena Ice and Curling Rink

Welcome to the RinkTime profile for Morris Arena Ice and Curling Rink. Founded in Morris, MB, Morris Arena is an indoor rink and open seasonally from September 1st to June 1st.

The Arena is home of the Pembina Valley Twisters of the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League as well as the Morris-St. Jean Wild, Morris Ladies Herricanes, the Morris Skating Club and the brand new Morris High School Hockey team in September of 2007. We also have many local churches and businesses renting weekly ice to keep the adults in the community healthy and active.

The Morris Complex not only houses the Ice Surface, we also have the Curling Club, Wellness Center and banquet facilities available for tournaments, bonspiels, conventions, trade shows, socials, weddings and special events. The Super 8 Motel is located just across the parking lot to offer the convenience for out of town travellers.

Public Skating & Public Shinny

These two events are ALWAYS FREE!!!  Friday evenings right after the bell lets out for school, the kids are on the ice playing pick up hockey and having a blast.  We always try to hold ice for the public Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons to keep our community active. 

Morris Skating Club

Are you an adult looking to learn to skate? Do you have children yearning to skate like the pros? If so, we love to teach and our instructors are top notch. For beginners we focus on providing the basics. For more advanced skaters we focus on proper form, technique and getting you ready to meet your goals. Call us at (204) 746-2606 for more details.

Broomball

Morris Arena is looking at offering Broomball this year for kids right up to adults. Many people don't know this, but Broomball is an actual competitive sport.  It is similar to ice hockey - it's fast and fun.

Curling
Curling is a team sport that is offered at Morris Arena. Our ice is carefully prepared and ready for the next bonspiel competition. If you are interested in giving it a try, please give us a call the Curling Club office (204) 746 - 2271.
