Public Skating

Public skating sessions are one of our main attractions at White Bear Lake Sports Center. Skating provides great exercise and an opportunity to get out of the house - plus, it's not like exercising at the gym... skating is fun! Lace-em up and come join the others. Get on the ice and get ready for a great experience.

White Bear Lake Sports Center offers Figure Skating & Ice Skating Lessons.

Ages 3 years - Adult

Are you an adult looking to learn to skate? Do you have children yearning to skate like the pros? If so, we love to teach and our instructors are top notch.

• We offer year round lessons. Ice Skating Institiute (ISI) taught by certified professional instructors.
• Low student/teacher ratio, maximum 12 students per teacher.
• Written evaluations of progress & performance twice per session for the basic skills levels.
• Badge awarded when class is passed (included in class fee)
• Opportunity to participate in annual White Bear Lake Comptetition & Spring Ice Show.
• Advancement possible in the basic skills through advanced freestyle levels.
• Dynamic Edges/Power class offered to enhance figure skating skills.
• Pros are available to contract for private lessons at all age levels.

Ice Hockey

We work with the White Bear Lake Hockey Association for all levels of hockey. We work with various hockey camps. Whether you are a beginning skater looking to play on a team in an instructional league or an experienced ice hockey player looking to get out and play with others of a similar caliber, White Bear Lake Sports Center is the place to play. Broomball

White Bear Lake Sports Center offers Broomball. Many people don't know this, but Broomball is an actual competitive sport.

It is similar to ice hockey - it's fast and fun. If you are looking to rent the ice for a group to play broomball or you are just interested in giving it a try, give us a call now at (651) 429-8571.

White Bear Lake Sports Center is a multi-sport complex operated by the City of White Bear Lake. There are no membership fees. Please call ahead for a court reservation 651-429-8571.
