My youngest son wanted to go skating for a family night out. My husband, myself, my teen son and youngest son and his buddy went. The place is run down and the woman taking the money was awful and rude. We didn't pay much attention because we were there to spend time with each other. At the end of the evening you have to pay an additional dollar to skate the last hour. The two younger children wanted to stay so we payed for them. My eldest son, husband and myself turned in our skates. The owner then proceeded to tell us my son would have to leave. We were shocked because he was there with us. When we asked what he expected us to do with him he said," I don't Care!" These people claim to be Christian but I assure you they are not. They have no business running any establishment for children. If the children do not pay for the extra hour they are then forced out into the street weather their parents are there or not. The owners of this place are horrible and should be shut down.
Most horrible place on the coast. They pick and choose who should be allowed to go here. Rude owners! If your children have problems, they dont ban the ones who start fights or are vulgar. Their bathrooms are gross and not maintained!
MY EXPERINCE HERE WAS JUST HORRIBLE! I MEAN HORRIBLE .MY KIDS HAD BEEN INSIDE THE WHOLE WEEK FOR THE HURRICANE AND ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS TAKE THEM OUT SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. SKATING IS WHAT CAME TO MIND I WAS ALWAYS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE ONLY PLACE I COULD BRING MY KIDS WHICH WAS IN D'IBERVILLE, MS ON LAMEY BRIDGE BECAUSE OF ALL THE BAD REVIEWS I READ IN THE PAST. BUT PAID IT NO MINE AT THE TIME. ...FROM THE TIME WE ARRIVE IN THE DOOR THE OLDER LADY AT THE WINDOW WAS SOOO RUDE SHE TREATED US LIKE WE DID NOT BELONG THERE AND THAT IS ALL IM GONNA SAY...SHE TREATED US SO HORRIBLE LIKE WE WERE THERE TO STEAL EVERYTHING INSIGHT. I DONT KNOW WHY I GOT TREATED THIS WAY ME AND MY FAMILY, I HAVE A GREAT JOB AND PAY TAXES JUST LIKE EVERYONE , I WAS VERY RESPECTFUL TO THIS LADY AND ALL SHE DID WAS LOUD TALK US WHILE TRYING TO PAY MONEY TO GET IN , THIS LADY WAS SCREAMING AT US, LIKE WE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE THERE! I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE ON THE COAST AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIEN
rules in place to keep everyone safe. Ref and person at rental counter had good suggestion for slow skates for my 6 yr old daughter, hich made it much more fun for her. she is a first time skater and the regular skates were difficult for her. Suggestion very appreciated, as ishe may have gotten discouraged had e not sitched. Also met the oner ho as very friendly.
This place it the worst skate rink I've ever been to. This family owned business has lost touch with it's customer base and are very RUDe. The first poster is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. From the moment of having to deal with the front door bouncer, to the hateful lady behind the plastic window, to the most vile, RUDE old man, and even to the little snotty refs skating around like teen enforces. It's ridculus to see. I believe it's the only skate place around and I'm sure they'll do fine without my buisness, but I'm promise. I'll make sure my family and most of my friends do not patronize this place again. Anyone rating this place as a 5 star is obviously a member of the family trying to desperately to save this place. Well, try better customer service. Try being NICE. Try being more christian like you profess to claim. UUGHH... I'm so irritated at this place. Never again, will they get my money.
