Saint Mary`s University Alumni Arena Ice Skating RinkWelcome to the RinkTime profile for Saint Mary`s University Alumni Arena Ice Skating Rink. Founded in Halifax, NS, Saint Mary`s University Alumni Arena is an indoor rink. Currently our open season runs from August to the end of March. Our last day of ice for the 08/09 Season is March 31, 2009. Hoping to start the new Dauphnee Arena, which is part of the Homburg Centre for Health and Wellness, this Spring of 2009. With the new open date to be in the Fall of 2010.
Ice Hockey
We offer Student Intramurals for Fall and Winter months. Please call Sandra at 902-420-5556 for more information. For Arena bookings, please call 902-420-5440. During September thru to March we have SMU Students Pick Up hockey on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As well, we have Free Skate for SMU Staff, Faculty and Students only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We host Men and Women's Varisty Hockey Team Programs, Adult Ice Hockey programs and leagues, Minor Hockey and Ringette Associations and Student Intramurals.
