Bracebridge Memorial Arena Ice Skating Rink

Welcome to the RinkTime profile for Bracebridge Memorial Arena. Founded in Bracebridge, ON, in 1949 Bracebridge Memorial Arena is an indoor rink and is open year round.   We are excited to be celebrating our 60th birthday next year so stay tuned to this website and the Town of Bracecbridge's website where you'll learn about all the exciting events you won't want to miss!

Regular season ice starts right after the labour day weekend in September and concludes after the first week of April.  The spring is a great time to rent the ice pad for ball hockey, lacrosse, in-line skating or come enjoy the popular Home Show and a number of other indoor special events.

This facility also has an auditorium which is great for hosting a special party like a buck and doe, anniverary celebration, birthday party, wedding, and it's also great for meetings, workshops and training.   And if you require a smaller space for more intimate meetings for 12 or fewer people, we also have a meeting room space for that purpose too.

 

Public Skating

Public skating sessions are one of our main attractions at Bracebridge Memorial Arena. Skating provides great exercise and an opportunity to get out of the house and have fun with the whole family.  Lace-em up and come join the others. Get on the ice and get ready for a great experience.

Ice Hockey & Figure Skating

We offer both Adult and Youth Ice Hockey programs and leagues. Whether you are a beginning skater looking to play on a team in an instructional league or an experienced ice hockey player looking to get out and play with others of a similar caliber, Bracebridge Memorial Arena is the place to play. The Bracebridge Figure Skating Club is an important part of the programs at the Bracebridge Arena.  They offer a full program for beginners through to competitive skaters that have competed nationally.  Call us at (705) 645-8888 ext 101

 

Shinny Hockey

Looking for a casual game? We also offer adult pickup hockey. Shinny takes place Mondays and Thursdays starting at 11:30 am during the regular season.  We also offer shinny during the summer, call 645-8888 ext. 101 for times or visit our website at

Hockey clinics are offered through Minor Hockey and are also a part of our summer ice schedule.

Broomball, Ball hockey, Lacrosse

Bracebridge Memorial Arena offers broomball, ball hockey and lacrosse to anyone interested in renting the pad. Many people don't know this, but Broomball is an actual competitive sport.

These off-season sports are a great way to stay in shape, cross-train and to just get some exercise and have fun with your pals. If you are looking to rent the pad for a group to play or you are just interested in giving it a try, give us a call now at (705) 645-8888 ext. 101.
