Excellent floor, large space, great vending and moderate table and chairs make Trout Pond the only rink worth visiting for two hours in any direction. The floor is amazing, they put a lot of effort into making it top notch. The hardwood floor was just refinished in Summer of 2011, and is beautifully done. This isn't a cracked concrete pad like you'll find at some places (cough Skate Haven cough). During the week the place is nice and quiet, with a dozen or two skaters on the floor. The weekends are a bit busier, but still manageable. This isn't a rink overrun with kids straight out of Lord of the Flies (cough Skate Haven cough). Only downside is they don't have much parking, and it's rather chaotic. Would recommend this venue to anyone for any occasion, it's a real gem.
