Manager very rude! Employees response to complaints" sorry i just work here". Flooring isn't smooth, overpriced concession, stailed cookies & candy. It clearly states " Non-Skating Parents free" in there rules and yet they still charge everybody, even babies that can walk, but don't have there size skates. Very Unprofessional!
The worst staff ever. I don't understand how they say in business. All the ladies working there need to learn the term "Customer Service" They were rude and unfriendly to my 9 year old daughter!!!! Didn't show any concern for the customers and had from hell. The owner is just as bad as all the employees working there. Not fun for the younger kids everything centers around the "fast skaters" It's just all around a bad place to be. They don't deserve to be in business. There are way better places to take your children.
We booked a basic party package for my 12 yr old niece. *Their price is $12 per child (reg. admission is $8.50). You get a reserved table, a dixie-sized drink and a mini ice cream bar for your extra $3.50/child. *All children are charged, whether or not they skate. Adults are not allowed to skate with their child without an extra $8.50 charge. *A 10% "gratuity" is added to your party, but the poor 16-yr-old who serves the drinks/ice cream and cleans up the table after doesn't get a dime of this. *They advertise birthday song & Hokey Pokey dance & games, but we got NONE of these. *They cleaned up our table 30 minutes before the party was over, so we were unable to serve our cake. *When our final bill came out HIGHER than we expected, we asked the manager for an itemized bill. We were treated very rudely. It turns out she was trying to overcharge us by more than $20. If you must have a skating party, go somewhere else.
I was very impressed with the watchful eye of the owner/mgr. She didnt allow profanity, saggy jeans and advised the kids not to go outside. As a mother who is not ready to drop off her daughter, I appreaciated the fact that there are still parents out there that keep some kids "in line." I will feel more comfortable dropping off the kids knowing that they ARE being supervised. I must admit they are a bit edgy but they are baby sitting some kids and I can only imagine how i would be.
I had a private party for my kids here on Sept 24th. My kids had a blast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was we ran out of time. 2 hours goes by fast. If you're planning a private party I recomend adding an extra hour of private skating. Its worth it. I will definetly be doing this next time :)
I had my daughters 7th birthday party here in April and we had so much fun. So much that my 3yr old wanted to have her bday party here. And we did this past weekend. Love the place and always have a blast when we come... Thanks for everything. Jennifer Worthey
Went skating June 4th. Food is disgusting and overpriced. The little girl working snack bar I am not sure what she is trying to sell but her clothes are way to revealing, short shorts that don't cover her b**. She also has no sense of customer service and can't give back the right amount of change and not once in the evening did I see her wash her hands before serving the customers. The boy was not much better, flirting with her and not doing his job. Couldn't believe they allow him to wear his shirt all cut up, not very professional in my opinion. As long as we were just skating and not having to deal with the employees it went pretty good. It isn't a place for young children at least not on a Saturday night. Also, go prepared to pay to watch your children. The new manager on duty says everyone pays (even adults that aren't skating). Kind of ironic since I watched her let numerous kids in for free. Not sure how that place is staying in business.
Went skating at Car-Vel with grandchildren Memorial Day weekend. A terrible choice. Employees were rude and dressed really bad. Boy in cut up shirt and girl wearing shorts that didn't cover her b** with a big hole in the front. To busy flirting with each other to care about the customers. Lady at the door seemed to be running the entire place. Helped us with skates, in snack bar and even the little boy that got hurt on the floor. Other employees to busy talking and texting. Really disgusting behavior but that's seems to be the type of kids they hire. I spent a lot of money in the snack bar for food that was not worth eating. Not sure if I would want to go back.
